A Genuine 1950s Diner On Murray Street

Tucked into Murray Street in the middle of Tanunda, Barossa 50's Diner is a full-blooded tribute to the golden era of the American diner. Step through the door and you're greeted by chrome, neon, checkerboard floors and the smell of burgers on the grill.

It's become one of the Barossa's most-loved eateries — 4.5 stars from more than 1,200 Google reviews and a 98% recommendation rate from over 600 Facebook reviews. Not bad for a little diner that just wanted to do things the proper way.

Lynda and Nick took the keys in 2018 and have poured themselves into the place ever since — redesigning the whole diner from top to bottom and adding more with every year, until it feels properly alive.
