Everyone's Welcome

Come As You Are

Accessibility

We want this website to work well for every visitor, whatever device or assistive tech you use.

Our Commitment

Barossa 50's Diner is committed to making this website accessible and welcoming to as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What We've Done

In building and maintaining this site we work to:

  • Use clear, readable text with sufficient colour contrast
  • Provide descriptive alt text for meaningful images
  • Support keyboard navigation for links, buttons and forms
  • Use semantic, well-structured headings and labelled form fields
  • Keep layouts responsive so the site works on phones, tablets and desktops
  • Respect reduced-motion preferences for visitors who find animation uncomfortable

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-off task. We review the site over time and do our best to fix any issues we become aware of. Some third-party content we embed (such as the Google Maps directions) is outside our direct control, but we always aim to provide an accessible alternative — for example, our full address and a click-to-call phone number.
